About

Hey everyone,

Thanks for checking out the site! This is the first website I have ever ran so please be patient as I will hopefully figure it out soon!
My name is Dennis Choi, currently a full-time student enrolled in Hons. Spec. Kinesiology and minor in Psychology at the University of Western Ontario, London, Canada. In the future I will be pursuing a career in neurology and/or neurophysiology. I am very active and love the idea of taking my fitness to the next level in every possible way. I consider myself to be very “outdoorsy” and love the company of others.

The website was created because on June 8, 2010, a great character named Blane Morden retired his life after a tragic bike/car accident. A loved friend and family member of the Morden’s, Blane was a compassionate individual who always saw the good in the bad and made everyone around him feel comfortable. In memory of Blane, I will be riding a bike across Canada to raise awareness on ride safety and to raise funds for charity. The charity organization whom we have currently partnered with is Right To Play Canada!  Their pursuit is to provide every child the right to participate in an activity, to play and cooperate with others, and to provide the underprivileged families/communities the resources to get involved. Please check out their website for more information http://www.rightoplay.com/canada/

From major events to whatever comes to mind, I will be posting and blogging on this website (along with the Facebook group) so everyone would be able to follow what I am doing in regards to the ride. Once the ride starts, I plan to post pictures and give daily blogs to keep people updated on the ride.
Along with the blogs, I will be taking videos of the training, interviews, meetings, and of course the ride itself, and putting it up on the “We Are Made To Give” Youtube channel so please check that out too!

Feel free to leave comments and suggestions!

Hooplah!

Dennis Choi

Hi Dennis, my company Trackem provides gps systems, normally used in delivery and service vehicles, also can be installed in a blackberry, give me a call if you can , I live in Dunnville, we may be able to help out with some kind of tracking for you. I read about your upcoming trip in the regional news sounds like a awesome idea in memory of your friend.

  2. Hello Dennis,

I became aware of your fun raising and awareness raising efforts through Terry Morden. I do some reporting for Your Local Journal, one of our local English language weekly newspapers. if you are willing, I would like to run an article/interview and photos next week. Do you have a press release for local news media? If so, please send it to us at e.admin@yourlocaljournal.ca

Many Thanks and the best of luck!
